Who are the audience?
For our piece we have a limited amount of space so we need around 4-5 people at most in our audience.
What is their function?
Our audiences function is to just observe the events that are happening throughout our piece. They will be expected to co-operate by following what the actor tells them to do. It is a journey so they will be expected to walk around our space.
Can you give them a role?
We are giving our audience a role and they will maintain it throughout our performance.
Do you want them to do something?
All we want our audience to do is observe, they can't get involved with the scenes happening around them.
Is the space their stepping into a comfortable space for them?
The space we are using is a comfortable space because it is a smallish space, unless any of the audience ha claustrophobia I think it's a relatively comfortable space. Some of our audience may have never been into this part of the school before so they might not feel comfortable.
Do they know about it?
Maybe some of the audience will know what the space is about and will have been there before, it belongs to BDC so if they have done media option then they will know what it is usually used for.
What will you do if they don't behave?
If the audience does not co-operate with us during the performance then we may have to ask them to leave he space depending on how much they are disrupting the performance.
What is the audiences journey?
The audience will be asked to go up several flights of stairs, stopping shortly at each landing to observe part o the performance.
